Deep Awakening - Meditation Day Retreat

Living in a fast paced world can take its toll on minds and bodies. In this one day urban retreat at Newcastle Buddhist Centre we'll explore techniques for resting the body and allowing the mind to settle into deeper states of being.

Open to all, with or without meditation experience, we'll guide you in basic techniques that have great depth and relevance to working with the conditions of our everyday lives.

We'll meditate, eat and share time together and have an opportunity to be in silence for part of the day, allowing a deeper immersion into restful meditation.
