Please join us to celebrate Gordon Huether’s 'Vision' alongside the new South Patrol Division Faciliy on July 29th at 10am-12pm, 3501 W. Risinger Road. An artist talk will follow the dedication celebration.
'Vision' considers essential attributes for effective police enforcement: clarity, transparency, awareness, and reflection. With its highly polished and mirrored surface, the globe-like sphere reflects every viewer and, resting securely in a blue basket, is lifted up in importance signifying the symbiotic relationship between the police department and the entire Fort Worth community. The concepts of dignity and honor are expressed in the artist’s use of color and simple use of abstraction.
