Cuban Modern Technique blends Modern Dance with Cuban folkloric & traditional dance genres like Orishas, Congo, Rumba, and Flamenco. It remains a core part of dance education across styles in Cuba today, often known simply as “La Clase Técnica" or "Danza". With structured exercises and expressive movement, these technique classes build strength, flexibility, and artistry—while honoring Cuba’s cultural roots. These classes are open to all levels, are accompanied by live instrumentation and will be taught by Anara & Javier!
Schedule on Wednesdays September 24 - November 12:
7:45-8:45PM: Cuban Modern Technique
8:45-9:45PM: Cuban Folklore Technique
8-Week Program Package deal: $260 total (you save & you are guaranteed a spot in both classes every week)...
Drop In Rate (depends on spots being available): $25 for 1 class; $40 for 2 classes (same night)
Location: Cambridge Community Center, 5 Callender Street, Cambridge, MA... 5-6 minute walk from Central Square and non-resident parking will be available (more details to come)
