About this Event
Using admixtures and sealants helps reduce the permeability of precast concrete for a better lifecycle. Applications include roads, bridges, buildings, sound walls, retaining walls, utilities, water infrastructure, and wastewater systems. Presentation by professional from Concrete Sealants, Inc. towards 1 PDH with lunch from Chickfila provided.
Objectives:
- Explain the importance of reducing concrete permeability in all types of infrastructure.
- Describe how different aspects of concrete admixture design impact concrete permeablity.
- Differentiate between PRAH's and PRAN's and when to use each type.
- Explain how PRAH's work to reduce concrete permeablity.
- List applications for PRAH's.
