Greetings Cadets and Parents,Decoration Day Set up -
Sunday 11 June- 10am - Woodlawn Cemetery.
PLease see the attached map in your email closer in to the event.
We will meet near area 5, look for the group and vehicles and you'll find us. You are permitted to drive into the cemetery on the roadways.
We will be assisting The Royal Canadian Legion with the setup of crosses on the graves of service men and women this Sunday 11 June. We will gather at Soldier field at 10am and there will be Legion members and other volunteers as well as my officers and I to help you get started.
This is a fun event and a great act of remembrance honoring those who served and gave their lives for us.
This is a non uniform event.
Anyone can come and help, so please feel free to bring your entire family. It makes for a nice morning outside doing something that honors those who gave so much for our freedoms.
The utmost respect will be shown to the Legion members, volunteers and the grave sites.
Please bring water and dress for the weather.
