Bring your loved ones together for a magical Valentines celebration in Reading town centre on Saturday 14th February 2026
Watch the streets sparkle as hundreds of hand-crafted willow and paper lanterns drift through the town carried by families, friends and lovers.
A heart-warming celebration of the season of love filled with lights, drumming, live music and community spirit.
Join us upstairs in the Broad Street Mall before the parade and decorate a beautiful willow and paper heart shaped lantern for the procession.

SATURDAY 14TH FEBRUARY 3PM-3.45PM & 4PM-4.45PM
@ First Floor, Broad Street Mall, Reading
FREE - suitable for all ages
PLEASE BOOK ONE TICKET PER PERSON ATTENDING
Each lantern workshop lasts 45 minutes and will be supported by professional artists who will show you how to make your lantern and where to go to jojn the start of the parade.
During this workshop you will be decorating pre-made heart shaped lanterns ready to go for the parade at 5.30pm.
