About this Event

Critical Race Theory (CRT), Social Justice, and Liberation Theology are rampaging.

Join the Frederick Douglass Foundation of NY to become "Ambassadors of Reconciliation" as we host Kevin McGary (in person) and Neil Mammen by video.

Kevin is the president of the Frederick Douglass Foundation of California, the founder of Every Black Life Matters, an author, and a highly sought-after trainer and facilitator.

Mr. McGary will present a practical and biblical approach to race relations, share resources, and provide strategic training on how to discuss and successfully confront CRT, social justice, and skincolorism in America.

Education is key in order to confront this divisive narrative and unify Americans. We all have a stake in the solution!

Who should attend? Educators, employees, parents, students – everyone should attend!

Saturday, August 14: Three sessions with a lunch break and time to network. While each session complements the others, please feel free to come to one session or all three. Check out the full list of topics HERE

Breaks, networking and Q&A are built into the program throughout the day.

Doors open at 10 am

10:20- 11:20 Session 1: History/Intro to Deconstructing CRT, society and the Church

Lunch: 11:30- 12:15

Meat Choice of: Smoked Pulled pork- Meat by Matt style or Roasted Lemon chicken

Sides: broccoli mixed vegetable medley, Spanish rice, salt potatoes and a roll.

12:15- 1pm: Social Justice vs. Biblical Justice- with Neil Mammen video /

1:15 - 2:05: Deconstructing Liberation theology/Black Liberation theology

The roots of "systemic racism"

Session 3:

2:30- 4 Moving Forward: Solutions, Being Ambassadors of Reconciliation, actions plan/next step

Time: 10:00am – 4pm

You can buy a lunch ticket through us (purchase in advance), bring your own bagged lunch, or go out for lunch offsite.

To help us defray the costs of the seminar, we are accepting suggested donations of $10-30, which includes lunch. We also want to offer this one-day seminar to everyone who wants to attend, regardless of means to pay. Tickets are free to those in need. Please bring a bagged lunch.

Short Bio on Kevin: Kevin McGary is an educator, entrepreneur, author, and public speaker. In the arena of civic engagement, Kevin serves as Chairman of the Frederick Douglass Foundation of California, and is an executive with the Douglass Leadership Institute and the Northstar Leadership Pac.

Over the past decade, Kevin has lead teams of individuals committed to developing innovative approaches to today's socio/political issues, and with the assistance of elected officials and myriad of community activists, he lectures and provides workshops about how to combat today’s most perplexing socio/cultural issues.

In 2020, Kevin founded Every Black Life Matters (EveryBLM.com) to counter-act emerging violence and plight within under-served, urban communities. EBLM is seen as a “moral-based" and “Faith-based” alternative to Black Lives Matter.
