Baalti arrive in Durham riding a wave of global momentum, bringing their percussive, rhythm-driven sound that fuses UK bass with South Asian influences. Named one of Mixmag’s “Breakthrough DJs of 2023,” the duo have earned co-signs from heavyweights like Ahadadream, Nikki Nair, Chloé Robinson, INVT, and Maribou State, while drawing critical acclaim from Resident Advisor, DJ Mag, and Bandcamp. Following standout festival appearances at Glastonbury, Dialled In, and MELT, Baalti have toured across the US, UK, and EU, lighting up clubs and airwaves alike with unforgettable sets on NTS, Rinse FM, The Lot Radio, and more. Known for a vault of unreleased originals and a reputation for infectious energy, their performances blur the line between rave and ritual. With a stacked release schedule, including their forthcoming Mela EP on Steel City Dance Discs already getting spins on Boiler Room and BBC Radio 1, Baalti are carving their place as leaders in shaping the future of global club music. Direct support comes from Blu 9, a Chicago-based DJ and producer pushing deep, hypnotic sounds through the city’s underground. The night also features local favorites DJ BENNI and UYMAMI, with an opening ambient analog set from Snake Charm School to set the tone.
