December Sensory Friendly FALCONERS Wonderland of Lights - Potter Park Zoo

FALCONERS is designed to allow children or adults of all ages with special needs and unique challenges (such as autism or developmental disabilities) and their whole family to have an enriching educational experience in a safe, welcoming and sensory friendly environment.

By registering you can come in anytime between 5:00 PM - 7:30 PM. The zoo and all activities will stop at 8:00 PM. If you decide to arrive at 7:30 PM please be aware you only have 30 minutes to see the lights and complete activities.

What is Wonderland of Lights? Thousands of lights create an extraordinary holiday display at the 32nd annual Wonderland of Lights! Take a stroll around the zoo and marvel at the twinkling light displays. This sensory friendly event is only available to those who register. The zoo will not be open to the general public. You must register to attend.

At the event you can stroll through the zoo and see our beautiful light displays, meet Santa, have fun with a craft, activities and enjoy a hot cocoa bar with a light snack. No dinner at this event. Thank you for understanding.

If you plan to meet Santa, please be aware we won't have a photographer onsite for Santa photos. It will have to be with your own device. We do have volunteers who will help take family photos!
