Join us on December 16th from 6pm-8pm, for the next Missfit Mixer, as the original MissFit herself, Jean Walton, showcases the Everyday Girl Adventures Social Club for the very FIRST time!
Jean invites us to her beautiful new store front location to learn about her vision of creating a safe and inviting community space for women, find opportunities for small business owners to share her space, and discover the amazing benefits of becoming a social club member! You won’t want to miss it!
Jean Walton is the founder and CEO of Everyday Girl Adventures and MissFit Networking. Originally inspired by the special memories made with the sisters and girlfriends in her life, Jean wanted to create free to affordable options for all types of women to come together and make their own memories while building a sense of community.
As a new entrepreneur, Jean felt like a misfit in the business world and wished for a networking group that felt more inviting and inclusive to those just starting out. By sheer accident, she formed Missfit Networking to do just that. She has since showcased 31 female-owned businesses over the past two years.
After designing her elegant loft spaces in 2023, Jean officially opened Everyday Girl Adventures, hosting themed events and workshops for the community to enjoy. It quickly evolved to also showcase and support local women-owned businesses through vendor pop-ups, and be a destination venue for intimate, personal celebrations such as baby showers, birthday parties, and bridal events.
Now, two and a half years after starting this journey, Jean has finally attained her dream of owning a beautiful store front in the heart of historic Old Colorado City. She has expanded her women's social club into a cozy co-working space, affordable permanent vendor residency, pop-up market destination and small workshop venue. She is so excited to share her passion, create a safe space for women of all backgrounds, collaborate with others, and help budding entrepreneurs build up their own businesses through opportunities in this prime location.
