Every second Friday of the month is Coral Restoration Day here at Rainbow Reef Dive Center!Join Coral Restoration Foundation Team Divers for an afternoon restoring our local coral reefs. This is a unique opportunity to use your dive training as a tool to help create a healthier marine environment and to earn the Project Aware Coral Conservation specialty in the process!
***Mandatory Orientation***
Begins Friday at 8:30 a.m at Coral Restoration Foundation Education Center.
- 5 Seagate Blvd. Key Largo, FL 33037
Followed by an afternoon of boat dives at Rainbow Reef Dive Center.

Required tools will be provided by CRF. Rental dive gear is available but not included.
CRF dive trips will include any two of a variety of nursery maintenance dives, performing coral surveys for scientific databases, or outplanting coral. Upon completion of the dive event, each person will receive a Project Aware Coral Conservation card in the mail.
Dive #1: Clean the coral trees and harvest coral fragments at the Tavernier Coral Nursery.
Dive #2: Outplant the coral fragments from dive one on a nearby reef.
