December bird survey at Greyhope Bay

Join us for our monthly relaxed and friendly session where we record the species of birds we can see in and around the Greyhope Bay Centre and Torry Battery. This is our last bird survey of 2025, so let's finish the year off strong!

Our bird surveys are open to all skill levels; we want to help people learn more about birds they can see in their local area.

Did you know over 200 different species of birds have been recorded around here? We're running regular surveys to better understand how bird species use the site throughout the year so we can identify any action we can take to benefit birds.

A few key points:

• Please dress appropriately for the weather.
• We will be walking on uneven ground, so please wear sturdy footwear.
• Please bring your own binoculars if you have them. If not, you're welcome to borrow some of ours.
