Get into the holiday spirit at the December's Art Stroll at The Local Artisan Collective!This festive month, we’re excited to feature many of our artists and their artisan ornaments. —perfect for holiday gifting or treating yourself. Enjoy live demos, make an ornament or two, warm up and explore a wonderland of unique, local creations. It's a magical way to start the season and support local artists!
Art Stroll is on Friday, December 5th, 2025! The store will be open later than usual for Art Stroll from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm; with then even later until 10pm for shopping.
Our Featured Artists include: Jackie, Devon, Mike, Stephanie, Lance, Rene, Jana, KC, Heather, Gail and Charis who will be showcasing their handcrafted ornaments all night long.
Classes and Events happening during the Art Stroll:
6:00 to 9:00: Mike will be blowing glass and creating amazing lampwork pieces. Stop by to watch him make ornaments….fantastic to see in person! Find him in the glassblowing studio.
6:00 to 9:00: Devon will offer custom engraved leather ornaments with a name or message engraved on 4 different leather ornament styles while your make other ornaments or shop. $10 each.
6:00-9:00: Stephanie and Lance will guide you as you explore the mesmerizing world of marbling—where paint floats on the surface of a special liquid and transforms into stunning, one-of-a-kind designs. Once your pattern is ready, you'll dip your ornament in and watch the magic happen! Choose from a variety of ornament shapes and styles—perfect for gifts, holiday décor, or just a little colorful fun. Come play with color and take home something truly one-of-a-kind! Just $4.99 per ornament.
6:00-9:00: 16th generation silversmith, Rene, will be teaching a copper ornament class. These will be made with metalsmith tools and techniques to create beautiful and unique copper ornaments that you can cherish throughout your life. All materials will be provided. Participant can choose from: stars, hearts, angels, bells, trees and more. This class is family friendly for all ages. $14 for the first one and then $9 per ornament. 6:00-9:00: Jana will be offering an Elf Gourd Ornament Class. Customers will be able to pick a small gourd, paint a cute face and then add some beads for extra cuteness. $5 each.
6:00-9:00: KC will be teaching a glass (or plastic) ornament decorating class using ribbons, beads, trinkets and other fun things! $4 for plastic and $6 for glass.
6:00-9:00: Heather is once again offering her fun macrame ornament class. They are easy and no experience necessary make; these simply elegant ornaments a perfect addition to your Christmas tree. All supplies are included. This drop in class is for ages 10 and up. Snowflake or Christmas tree-$5. Reindeer-$10.
6:00-9:00: Charis will be teaching a fun mermaid and seashells themed ornament class. Both adults and kids welcome, best for ages 9 & up. All supplies included at $6 each.
6:00-9:00: Gail is super excited to offer an ornament class. More details will be forth coming.
