December 2026 Meeting
About this Event
About
The Christian Fellowship Book Club is about bringing people of different backgrounds together through the love and grace of Jesus Christ and the joy of reading. Selected books will explore topics on Christian living, faith, and theology to encourage dialogue about our Savior Jesus Christ. By coming together, may we establish community to uplift one another in the faith.
Guidelines
- Book club meetings are to bring people together through the joy of reading and to glorify and draw closer to Jesus Christ.
- The selected books is not to replace to the Holy Bible. The Bible should be a part of our daily lifestyle, as that is how we learn about one and only living God that encompasses the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- There will be no tolerance of blasphemy. Discussions will not go against core Christian beliefs and values as defined by the Word of God. Questions and opinions are a part of healthy dialogue, but should be filtered through Scripture so we do not lean on our own understanding.
- Discussions must be respectful and encouraging. When speaking to one another, act as if Jesus was physically sitting amongst the group. Name calling, slander, and gossip are not permitted.
- Racist, sexist, and classist speech is not permitted. Such discriminatory language will not be tolerated.
- And again, this book club is to draw us closer to Jesus, desiring to be more like Him.
