Public procurement is getting more visibility as derisking plan for the ongoing green transition of industry in Europe. Procurement contracts can create and incentivise the lead markets for low carbon steel and cement industry- but its implementation over the last 10 years has a lot of lessons to learn. Meanwhile, many new legislations provide generic as well as specific obligations to procurement authorities.
Join us as experts discuss the major roadblocks towards streamlining procurement of steel and cement and to answer the question- what type of EU procurement rules are needed to successfully derisk the steel and cement industry?
