We're having a holiday show in our new home for what was called First Fridays Jazz Night with Jason Luckett & Friends. It's now Second Saturdays Jazz+ Night, with JL & Friends... and we're at Archetype Yoga in Pasadena. We're continuing the practice of bringing great music to non-traditional rooms supported by businesses that give all the money taken in to us artists putting on the show!I'm excited to have Jami and Phil join me for this special kick-off as both were part of last year's Holiday show at Lyd & Mo’s and both were a huge part of the community and success of our former residency.
The format is the same as it's been for the past two years, I'll introduce with a song or two, then bring up my guests for their sets, then I'll usually close the night with a set of my own.
The only thing to look out for is that we're on the third floor there, so if you need the elevator, please let me know. It's in the back and one of the staff will have to let you in. I'm sure this will all get down to a science as we develop, but bear with us as we get everything going.
Also, we're actually taking off January then beginning our regular monthly shows on February 8.
