Deborah Conway & Willy Zygier have been making music for more than 40 years, with 35 of those spent collaborating together — writing, recording and performing an extraordinary catalogue of songs that has become part of the fabric of Australian music.

Across four remarkable decades, they have released acclaimed albums, performed everywhere from stadiums to intimate lounge rooms, and created music that is intelligent, intimate, fearless and unmistakably their own.

Conway’s extraordinary career has been recognised with an ARIA Award for Best Female Artist, Gold and Platinum album awards, induction into the National Film and Sound Archive, recognition as a Living Legend, the prestigious Don Banks Music Award and induction into the Music Victoria Hall of Fame.

In 2020, Deborah Conway was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for her significant service to the performing arts.

Her autobiography, Book of Life, was published by Allen & Unwin in 2023, chronicling an extraordinary life spent at the heart of Australian music.

In August 2025, Conway & Zygier released their 11th studio album together, continuing one of Australian music’s most enduring and compelling creative partnerships.
