J. Salaam aka Brotha Jibril is an Atlanta based soulful dance music DJ. Jibril's approach to dance music is to create a soundscape influenced by the sounds of Disco, Soul and Jazz. Jibril hosts a House Music event in Atlanta that focuses on the Jazz elements of House Music called "SoulShine" as well as a residency with Houston's DJ Nimbus at "Exposure". We traveled to Bubbleman Dan’s birthday party and caught J Salaam opening up for Louie Vega in Houston and immediately knew we had to bring him up for the Debbie dancefloor!
