Duration – 5 days – 1.5 hours each day

A room filled with young debaters exchanging ideas through structured dialogue, spirited arguments and thoughtful discussion — this is the dynamic environment Rima Medhi creates through her engaging workshop for children. Through interactive debates, team activities and guided discussions, participants are encouraged to think critically, ask questions and express their opinions with clarity and respect.

Using research and communication exercises, the workshop introduces children to the fundamentals of debating while helping them build confidence in presenting and defending their ideas. Participants will learn how to listen actively, respond thoughtfully and approach differing perspectives with curiosity and confidence.

Participants will take away:

A stronger vocabulary and communication skills

Greater confidence in expressing opinions and ideas

An understanding of how to build and present arguments effectively

Knowledge of debate structures, including rebuttals, cross-examinations and resolutions

Improved critical thinking, listening and teamwork skills
