Death Over Drafts, Hosted by The DC Death Collective + Lost Boy Cider

Death Over Drafts is a free and informal gathering for the community: no experience or expectations necessary! The event is co-hosted by The DC Death Collective, a group of friendly people who love creating spaces for people who are open to talking about the sometimes-taboo topic of death.

What to expect:

• The event is free to attend!
• All are welcome! Come and go as you please.
• You can still come if you don’t love cider, there are other snacks and drinks! ;)
• This is a super supportive community, but we are not a support group.
• We want a comfortable space for everyone. Please drink responsibly and help us keep the atmosphere light.

All are invited to enjoy a drink, a snack, and fun conversation where the topic of death is not avoided. Think of it like a happy hour where morbid humor or deep insights are not only not weird but welcomed. We will also have a game called The Death Deck, a Death Over Drafts favorite activity! Everyone dies, and talking about it won’t K*ll us.

Past Death Over Drafts hosts and guests have included death doulas, death poets, and generally chill peeps who are curious about deathy things.
