Death Over Donuts: Holiday Grief & Recipe Exchange
About this Event
Join us Thursday, November 12th, from 11:00am–12:30pm at the Larkspur Library & Learning Center for a special holiday edition of Death Over Donuts.
The holidays can bring both warmth and joy, grief and longing, and complicated feelings, too. During this gathering, we’ll create a welcoming space to talk openly about death, grief, and loss during this holiday season.
Come share a story or tradition you remember with someone who is no longer here to celebrate, talk about the challenges of navigating the holidays after a loss, or celebrate the ways you continue to honor and remember someone you love. There’s no right way to feel or participate—come as you are.
We’ll also make room for a little community sharing! Bring a written recipe for a dish you once shared with someone you love. We’ll make copies so everyone can leave with a bouquet of holiday recipes filled with memories, love, and connection.
This is a drop-in gathering, but seating at the library is limited, so this free event will be intentionally small and intimate. Registration is required.
