Death of a Jailer

On June 13, 1866, jailer Henry Bugler was murdered at The 1859 J*il by members of the James/Younger gang. 2026 marks the 160th anniversary of this dark event. Experience the atmosphere of the museum and deepen your understanding of an that shaped its history. We will start the evening with a short history talk given by the museum's curator detailing the events of that night, then P.A.I. will lead a 3-hour lights-out investigation of the museum. Some investigation equipment is available to check out, but guests are welcome to bring their own. We look forward to welcoming you to this engaging and informative evening.
