Death. It happens to the best of us … and the worst. And the best of us (not to mention the worst) tell lies. All the time. Because it’s easier, or kinder, or quicker.
The Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius once said: ‘Death smiles at us all; all a man can do is smile back.’
Death is everywhere. Deceit is everywhere too. And ducks … oh ducks are everywhere. All we can do is smile back.
‘Death, Deceit ... and Ducks’ is a fast-paced potpourri of short-form theatre, in which the cast trip lightly across themes of mortality, deception and waterfowl, with just an occasional stumble into the dark side.
