All are very welcome to ✨Killarney's first Death Cafe!✨ ?Some may be wondering- what on earth is that?
These gatherings are simple: eat cake, drink tea/coffee and talk about death. Many find these conversations to be quite life- affirming. To be certain, death is the one thing we all have in common.
Death Cafe is a GLOBAL movement to increase awareness of death. It is a community directed discussion rather than a support group or counseling session. You can learn more at www.deathcafe.com
This is a FREE event.
It's a safe space to ponder questions, have open discussions and share experiences.
Hosted and facilitated by Claire Lyons- Forde with Melissa Murphy as a proud co-host. The two first became connected through their work in end of life and grief care, eventually meeting at the first Death Cafe organized by Melissa in Bantry, West Cork during the Autumn of 2018.
Refreshments will be served??☕?
*The plan is to gather in the hotel library room which can accomodate up to 15 people with access to an alternative space if necessary.
