Death Cafe + Supper Club

We will be enjoying 3 beautifully curated courses and moving through 3 questions, creating a space of reflection for our ideas and experiences with death, grief, and mortality.

Doors at 6pm, first course served at 6:30pm

Tickets are available on a sliding scale from $15-$20, however if cost is a barrier to you please feel free to PWYC!

Important! We are sadly unable to accommodate any dietary restrictions, however there will be a vegetarian meal option available! After you get your ticket please select the vegetarian meal option add-on so we can plan accordingly!

What is a Death Cafe?
Emerging from London in 2011, Death Cafes use food, conversation and community as a means to challenge how taboo death and discussion of death have become.

Through group-led discussion, this event creates an opportunity for us to hold eachother in care around our experiences, curiosities, ideas and challenges with loss, change, and death. It is a free-flowing, open and dynamic space, rooted in community connection; it is a space for laughter and a space for tears.

Note: This is not meant to be a substitute for grief or bereavement counselling. As we cater this space to the dynamic emotions and challenges we experience in our modern world, a soft reminder that all types of grief and loss are valid. While human-to-human loss is often where the mind first lands, topics such as ancestral grief, ecological grief, pet grief, anticipatory grief, relational grief, etc., may also resonate with you.
