About this Event

Welcome! We're looking forward to meeting you at our Elora Death Cafe! We'll be starting at 7pm and ending promptly at 8:30pm.

We will go around and introduce ourselves and then have an open discussion about end of life matters. We will let you know when there are 20 minutes left in our discussion and wrap up on time.

The Elora Cafe has generously allowed us to use their space for this event.

About your hosts, Karry Sawatsky and Katie Kay

Karry Sawatsky is an end-of-life consultant, death doula trainer and founder of Modern Deathcare. It was through her own challenging experiences with death that she found her calling. This is why she is so passionate about supporting caregivers as they support their loved one who has a life limiting illness and teaching people how to care for the dying. She is committed to sharing this wisdom and transforming the end of life experiences from a traumatic event into a connection-filled, meaningful rite of passage.

Katie Kay opened her store, Ruby Sage, to inspire you, to help you remember and harness your inner power. To help you remember that there *is* magic in life, even when it's tough. The kind of magic that puts you in the right place, at the right time, meeting the right people.
