About the event:

Author Pauline Spatafora presents a reading of her book, Dear Sister and a talk based on the book and the courage of women in honor of Womens History Month. 

About the book:

In 1938, following the death of her sister, Anna La Cameraleft Italy for the United States in order to raise her sister's children. Dear Sister, her epistolary account of the decade she spent in this country,chronicles the drama and reality of the immigrant experience in the middle ofthe 20th Century.

Copies of the book in both English and Italian will be available for purchase and autographing.
