Join violinist Patrick Galvin and pianist Jennifer Hou for a lunchtime recital at St Botolph without Aldgate, London.
Dear Camilla, honours Galvin's former teacher, the legendary violinist Camilla Wicks, weaving music with spoken storytelling about mentorship, memory and artistic legacy. This 30-minute recital features a selection of works drawn from the full programme.
The programme includes works by Sibelius, Chopin, Chausson, Pärt, Amy Beach, Jennifer Higdon, Emma Greenhill and Jolin Jiang.
This project first emerged during Patrick and Jennifer's studies at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Since then they have collaborated across North America and Australia, with Dear Camilla, released as an album on Navona Records in August 2025. This July they bring the project to the UK and Ireland for the first time.
