A Kansas native, Deann Kinsch has been involved with music from her early yearsthroughout college and has been based in the Kansas City music scene since 2010.
Over those years in Kansas City, DEANN has fronted KC cover bands such as The
Heather Stones and Superstar Mafia as well as played saxophone for several other KC
based bands. Recently, Deann can also be seen in the tribute Lone Jett and The
Brokenhearts which had the privilege to play on the Full Throttle Saloon main stage at
the infamous Sturgis Rally in Aug 2021.
DEANN, like many other artists during 2020, had an opportunity to re-set, focus and
create. What surfaced was a storyteller, a songwriter and an abundance of new music
which came to fruition with her release of her debut album called Play Them Cards in
June 2021.
The album was written, produced, and mastered 100% from lockdown remotely during
the COVID pandemic. Play Them Cards is the title song on the album. Being the
youngest of 3 and only girl, DEANN’s father would often play a simple card game with
her to show her how to navigate life (and keep her busy).
DEANN prides herself in the charity work she has been part of with Band of Angels and Art
that Blows based in Kansas City, which helps refurbish and donate band instruments to
K-12 students. DEANN hopes her passion, vision and storytelling offers listeners the
opportunity to connect on a personal level be it from their past, future or current reality.
