Experience the vibrant and rhythmically charged world of the Deaf Indigenous Dance Group (DIDG), where the art of movement becomes a powerful expression of culture, identity, and resilience.

The launch event will include official speeches, a special performance from DIDG, followed by light refreshments and a panel discussion with group members.

About the showcase

Visit our latest showcase in kuril dhagun, , and explore our collection of portrait artworks, videos and photographs which share the stories of the Deaf Indigenous Dance Group (DIDG).

Deaf in dance honours and celebrates the distinct cultural and artistic impact DIDG have had over their 27-year history. The showcase examines how connection to culture can provide unity, pride and a sense of belonging.
