Deaf Cultural Celebration is a little different this year! Come celebrate with us as ISD students join the Lewis Central High School cast in the play 𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘞𝘰𝘰𝘥𝘴. An ISD student will share the narrator role, some ISD students will have short roles as well, and interpreters will shadow interpret the play. DISCOUNT TICKETS for $8 are available at the link above.
You can choose to attend the performance at the Lewis Central Auditorium (3504 Harry Langdon Blvd. in Council Bluffs) April 4 & 5 at 7 p.m. or April 6 at 2 p.m.
𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘞𝘰𝘰𝘥𝘴 follows the classic fairy tales of Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Red Riding Hood and the Baker and his Wife—who each go into the woods to fulfill a wish. As their tales unfold, the characters face unexpected consequences that challenge their ideas of happily ever after.
