The West Virginia Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing has reserved Tuesday, March 7, 2023 as Deaf Awareness Day. This celebration will be held on the Senate and House sides of the Upper Rotunda of the State Capitol. The purpose of this event is to promote and bring awareness to organizations, clubs, programs, agencies of various purposes, and other community resources that serve Deaf and Hard of Hearing people in West Virginia.
