Argo and the Violet Queens are a psychedelically driven band based out of Washington D.C. that blend surreal stage props with nostalgic visual aesthetics and sociopolitical lyricisms in order to create a uniquely abstract world in which the music lives. Sonically, all four members make unique contributions to the band’s sound as they weave through explorations of what the 20th century’s preeminent genres can be once altered in a modern setting.
