Hannah is an Auckland author of several books for kids and adults, including trilingual picture book MARJORY AND THE MOUSE and co-creator of the Detective Stanley series of kids graphic novels. An eating disorder survivor and counsellor, Hannah is also founder and host of body acceptance podcast 'Bod Almighty'. Her domestic noir THE POOL has been described as "Christos Tsiolkas’s The Slap with an added whodunnit layer".
Joanne is an award-winning art historian, New York Times bestselling biographer, and nonfiction writer. A university researcher and teacher, Joanne has written acclaimed biographies of women painters, bestselling novelists including Dame Ngaio Marsh, and TV chefs Hudson & Halls. Joanne's work has been shortlisted for the NZ Book Awards, among other accolades.
Rose is an Auckland lawyer, author, and keen adventurer. She has crewed on scientific yachting expeditions to subantarctic islands and lived aboard her own yacht in the Indian Ocean for a year, sailing it from Thailand to South Africa. Her debut thriller, THE GIRL IN THE MIRROR became an international bestseller, and a finalist for the Ngaios. Rose was a 2020 Michael King Writer in Residence. Her latest thriller is NO ONE WILL KNOW.
Dermot is an Auckland lawyer who has spent the majority of his life in New Zealand, with a brief sojourn in London during his 20s. Although HEMINGWAY'S GOBLET is Dermot’s debut novel, he is no stranger to writing, having authored several book reviews for various publications. He was also a founder shareholder in well-regarded NZ literary magazine Quote Unquote in the 1990s.
Diane is an Auckland-based accountant, author and public Speaker. As a child she dreamed of being the next Enid Blyton. Her dolls had adventures, not dress ups! She finished writing her debut HIVE OF LIES during COVID lockdowns; a cosy mystery set in the manuka honey industry. Her second, NIKOLAI'S QUEST, was a finalist for the 2024 Ngaio Marsh Award for Best Kids-YA Book.
