2024 Deadlift For Dogs - Deadlift Only Competition This is a charity event with all profits being donated to RSPCA Port Macquarie. This event is one we are truely excited about, raising money for an organisation that we say is close to a lot of our hearts and our furry friends.
This event is run just like a powerlifting competition with 3 attempts to lift your heaviest deadlift.
This is open to all experience levels and abilities, if it be your first time on the platform or your 100th, it is about getting in and giving it a go and raising money for something great and possibly in readiness for our powerlifting comp in November if it is your first time on the stage.
WEIGHT CLASSES:
WOMEN - Under 60kg | 70kg | 80kg | 80+ kg
MEN: Under 80kg | 90kg | 100kg | 110+ kg
EQUIPMENT:
No straps or deadlift suits
Chalk, Belt, Knee/ Elbow sleeves allowed
Powerlifting singlets optional but not mandatory
SCHEDULE:
8:30am - 9am Athlete Weigh In
9am - 9:15am Athlete Briefing
10am Lifting Starts
SPECTATORS:
$5 entry fee for all spectators with all proceeds donated directly to RSPCA Port Macquarie
