This month, Dead Rekordings with host Bob Barnes features a deep dive into a legendary performance by the Grateful Dead. Bob will play selections from their East Rutherford, NJ concert on June 16 & 17, 1991. This is a chance to experience the band in a pivotal moment from the final years.
This show is a fan favorite for its high energy and stellar setlist. It's an excellent live recording that perfectly captures the detailed nuances of the piano of Bruce Hornsby and keyboardist Vince Welnick. We'll hear their iconic collaborations with the band on classics like "Eyes of the World" and "Saint of Circumstance," along with other highlights from the show's blistering second set.
