The legendary Dead Boys are back!Formed in Cleveland in 1976, the Dead Boys were one of the first American acts to combine the proto-punk fervor of bands like the Stooges and the New York Dolls with a new level of intense energy. The 1977 debut LP, Young, Loud and Snotty was a landmark album in the birth of hardcore punk and produced one of the first great punk anthems, "Sonic Reducer."
After one more album, the band split in 1979. They reunited for a few gigs in the 1980s, but following the death of lead vocalist Stiv Bators in 1990, the band members went their separate ways except for two brief reunions in 2004 and 2005.
The return of the Dead Boys began with guitarist Cheetah Chrome.

Whatever passed you by in ‘77 is all new again.
Men of a certain age who were there for the first go round…the six660s.
The six660s play the songs you were too afraid to like in high school and then some… Stooges, Pistols, Damned, Ramones and yes, Motörhead.
Atlanta guitarists and longtime friends Ted and Evil Jim reprise their roles that once made Wednesdays at midnight so magical.
Bringing in Steve Mac on bass and lead vocals to add a new twist on old friendships.
But perhaps it is Atlanta punk legend Mark Stopper on the drum kit who is the crowning jewel in this punk rock crown of thorns.
It’s one thing to play a couple-bunch-of punk rock covers and a whole other thing to play those covers like you stole them.
And that’s what the lovelies in the six660s do.
