We zijn heel blij dat we sinds oktober een lang gekoesterde wens in vervulling hebben zien gaan, een vaste clubavond: de Vrijdagavond van Splendor. Iedere vrijdag komen twee Splendormusici bij elkaar. Na een dag repeteren in Splendor presenteren zij ’s avonds hun programma heet van de naald.
Dit gebeurt in Splendorstijl: twee musici die niet eerder een programma samen maakten en waarvan de instrument-of genre combinatie niet voor de hand ligt zoeken elkaars muzikale raakvlakken en vormen samen een Duo voor één Dag. Dit levert prachtige, unieke en zeer bijzondere samenwerkingen op.

Every Friday two Splendor musicians form a duo for one day. In true Splendor style, these two musicians have not played together before. After just one day of rehearsals in which they find repertoire that suits them both, they present their programme, full of surprising moments and beautiful collaboration, in a live-streamed concert called Duo for a Day.
