About this Event
One of the most exciting contemporary Brazilian jazz groups: Vocalist Dani and pianist) Débora Gurgel and their Quarteto (DDG4). Their original music (composed by Débora) is the best of current samba jazz. Débora is also the conductor and arranger of OBA (Brazilian Orchestra of Auditório Ibirapuera), and a regular arranger for Orquestra Jazz Sinfônica and Orquestra Jovem Tom Jobim, having written for artists such as Richard Bona, Chico Pinheiro, Joyce Moreno and Amilton Godoy. The quartet is rounded out by Dillon Vado on drums, and bassist David Belove.
Special guests include vocalist Sandy Cressman, and who knows what other surprises...
