Join DCNOMA for our August General Body Meeting as we close out the summer and prepare for a busy fall. We will begin with a special presentation from our sponsor: EcoSpec.

Learning Objectives:

(1) Understand how the physical properties provided by Porosity Inhibiting Admixtures integrally waterproof concrete.

(2) Identify the five main sources of concrete moisture.

(3) Understand the differences between concrete curing and drying.

(4) Understand the differences between porous and non-porous (power-troweled) concrete slab applications.

(5) Understand and identify how concrete surface profiling affects cost, schedule, and performance.

(6) Understand the adverse financial and schedule ramifications of new concrete slabs not achieving the specified moisture testing requirements.
