The Gamers' Emporium will be running an introduction to Roleplaying Games on 16th August in support of DCC Day 2025.
DCC Day is an international event run by Goodman Games, creators of the "old school style" role-playing games Dungeon Crawl Classics and Mutant Crawl Classics. It's aim is to promote independant RPGs, and to remind everyone that there's more to role playing than Dungeons and Dragons!
Your Gamesmaster Mark will be holding sessions at 10:30am, 1pm, 3:30pm & 6pm. Spaces will be limited to 5 players per session.
Pre-generated characters will be provided as will all dice and other materials needed to play. Just bring yourself and your sense of fun!
Whether you're a complete beginner at role-playing and have no idea a a 20 sided die looks like, or you've played many other RPGs in the past, come on down and join us to celebrate the day.
Mark will be running Dungeon Crawl Classics, a role-playing game that draws heavily on the original edition of Dungeons & Dragons for its inspiration. So if you want to know what gaming was like in the early days of the hobby or just experience a simple & fun system with a unique style then sign up in store or online.
