For the rest of the summer, DC Jazz Jam is highlighting many of our outstanding jazz piano players. DC's bench of jazz piano players is deep! It's enough to give any other town #PianistEnvy.Next up in our Pianist Envy series this Sunday (9/22/24) is Bill Heid, one of the old-school deans of the DC jazz community, who can be seen playing everywhere in the DMV from piano karaoke nights, to jam sessions, to swanky private parties. Bill will be joined by a teerific house band of Chris Barrick (vibes), Baghwan Khalsa (bass), and JC Jefferson (drums).
So come sit in with the band and throw your support to a great local joint! 6:30-9:00pm @ Haydee’s (3102 Mount Pleasant Street NW). No cover!
