DC Bloggers Meetup: Food Photography & Food Blogging

Originally from Bermuda, Erin Hill is a freelance photographer, model and former NHL cheerleader now based in Washington, D.C.. She started as a food photographer in 2017 focusing mainly on coffee shops and restaurant interiors and since then, she’s broadened her horizons to everything from food photography to portrait sessions (check out @hillea and @erinpointandshoot). Join us, as Erin gives you all the tips and tricks to food photography as an influencer!

This event will be held outdoors, weather permitting. Metered street parking available throughout downtown Georgetown.

PLNT Burger brings people joy with delicious, planet-based burgers, sandwiches, milkshakes, and other offerings crafted by Celebrity Chef Spike Mendelsohn and Chef Mike Colletti. PLNT Burger is a DC-based burger concept, with 10 locations across Washington D.C., Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. PLNT Burger has a new mobile kitchen parked within Sandlot Georgetown, an outdoor container bar and cultural event space in downtown Georgetown.

Spike Mendelsohn is a Co-Founder and the Culinary Director of PLNT Burger, and is also the Chairman of the DC Food Policy Council. Spike was featured in season four of Top Chef, and owns several restaurants in the greater DC area. Spike also serves as a Chef Contributor to DC Central Kitchen and a Chef Ambassador to CARE's Chef's Table Program, fighting food insecurity in our local communities and around the world
