DC-AAPOR Holiday Party

This year has been a memorable one for our DC-AAPOR community. Many of our colleagues and friends faced professional challenges, and many in our community stepped up and offered support.

To celebrate the hard work we all do, we are excited to invite you to our annual holiday party. Join us and your fellow friends and colleagues as we look back on 2025 and hope for a prosperous 2026. Come enjoy free food and beverages and meet your DC-AAPOR council, including the incoming 2026 council members.

In addition to drinks and appetizers we will be announcing the winners of the annual Outstanding Achievement Award and the Student Paper Competition at the party.

This year, our holiday party will be held at The Loft at the Hamilton (600 14th St NW, Washington DC), easily accessible via multiple metro stops (McPherson Square, Metro Center, and Federal Triangle).

We are introducing a “pay-what-you-can” approach for this year’s holiday party, with a suggested ticket price of $10. You are welcome to contribute any amount, including attending at no cost if needed. Your contribution will help cover the expenses for the party and help us maintain important programs such as the student paper competition, the annual review/preview conference, and other professional development opportunities.

Registration is required to attend! You must either have been a member of DC-AAPOR in 2025 or become a member for 2026. Membership will be verified before the event.

Not a member or need to renew your membership? Membership is $30 ($6 for students). You can register or renew your membership for 2026 via the DC-AAPOR website (https://dc-aapor.org/membership/shop), or when you join or renew your national AAPOR membership.
