The historic Financial Center in downtown Des Moines has reopened as Mezzo on Walnut after an $80 million renovation that has transformed most of its business floors into high-end luxury apartments. At one time the largest building in Iowa, the building has been converted to include a coffee shop, retail stores, an upscale restaurant along with 210 apartment units and an outdoor rooftop deck with a swimming pool.
