Celebrate a new chapter in the heart of downtown Dayton! Join us at the Dayton Convention Center for a special Community Open House that honors the past, celebrates the present, and looks forward to the future.

3:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Ceremonial ribbon cutting and the opening of a time capsule, marking a momentous milestone for our newly renovated facility.

4:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Enjoy light bites, guided tours of the revitalized spaces, and an exciting lineup of family-friendly fun including:

• Caricature Artists
• Balloon Twisters
• Face Painting
• Surprise Character Appearances
• A Live DJ and Music
• Magical entertainment by a strolling magician

Since its grand opening in 1973, the Dayton Convention Center has been a cornerstone of connection and celebration in downtown Dayton. This transformation wouldn’t be possible without the unwavering support of our incredible community—and we can’t wait to welcome you back through our doors.
