About this Event
Day Trip
Join artist and curator Erin O’Donohue as she discusses her latest exhibition DAY TRIP at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, featuring work inspired by 'day trips' over the past 8 months. Erin's work focuses on capturing the unique beauty and personalities of buildings. Erin gravitates toward idyllic, quirky, or rustic older buildings and landscapes where the lamination of time is visible and can be dissected. Her preference lies with watercolour as a medium, appreciating its translucent and layered qualities for precisely the same reason. Drawn to the medium’s dreamlike qualities, they help her accurately express how she views and experiences the world, inviting viewers to share her lens and subsequently, her adventure.
This exhibition is held within a public hospital. We ask all visitors to follow SA Health guidelines and visiting requirements of the Royal Adelaide Hospital, when viewing the exhibitions. For those who cannot view this exhibition in person, more information is available at https://creativehealth.org.au/whats-on/exhibitions/.
