Craig Rebuck

I first came to the sanctuary thirty years ago, searching for answers to questions. In hindsight I don’t think I even knew what the questions were. I was invited to join, and to learn to be a healer. Little by little, I immersed myself into understanding. I learned to be with the energy that is channeled through a healer, whilst at the same time supporting and being with people experiencing complex and often life-threatening illnesses. These people would come to the healing centre in search of their own answers to where they were in life. It has been an amazing journey to be part of the constantly evolving and deeply humbling work that takes place at the centre, and I feel privileged to be able to be a constant support to so many people.

I have been practising and teaching traditional yoga since my teenage years, where postures and breathing techniques are a means to facilitate meditation in order to approach enlightenment. I carried on following my heart and added structural and cranial osteopathy to my skills. I have always worked with the belief that I am a facilitator for my patients to stimulate their self-healing potential physical, emotional and even in some aspects of their spiritual spheres. I discovered the healing centre a few years ago, and I began to understand their work through the healing I received. I found that there was an unquestioning acceptance of myself and was supported through a difficult period. Joining the healing centre felt like a continuation of my aspirations to help and support others while learning and deepening my understanding of how to become a channel to healing energies; and my quest in spiritual knowledge.

I’ve been a healer with Sylvan Sanctuary for over thirty years. An interest in energy healing led me to the Sanctuary where I had the good fortune to be trained by working alongside several extremely experienced teachers/healers until I was ready to work alone. I continue to find this work fascinating as each client is so individual, each with his or her own life experiences, struggles, illnesses, stresses and beliefs, each seeking upliftment from whatever ails them. It remains a privilege to work with every client, whatever their needs, giving healing and support and the fact that many report improvements to their health or to their life situations become very rewarding.
The Sylvan Sanctuary is a charitable organisation in London and Online offering transformative experiences, both in-person and remotely, with a mission to make holistic wellness accessible to all through the use of diverse and effective .
