💀 COSTUMES OPTIONAL • NO DRESS CODE
Come as you are! You do not need a costume, face paint, or themed outfit to join the party. Want to dress up? Take inspiration from Día de los Muertos traditions with decorative skull face paint, an elegant La Catrina look, or a dapper El Catrín outfit. Colorful, flowing dresses, floral headpieces, and formal suits are also ideas—but dressing up is entirely your choice!

Welcome to Alexandria Bier Garden, Old Town’s German-inspired house-made bier hall and rooftop bar.
We celebrate the best of German Bier and hearty classics such as giant pretzels, schnitzels, bratwurst, German sausages, and potato pancakes blended with a fusion of American bar food favorites. Pair it with a cold stein of German, Belgian, or American craft beer, ciders, or a house made bier cocktail and you have the perfect match.
At ABG, there is always something happening. Enjoy live music in Old Town Alexandria, rooftop DJs, comedy shows, trivia nights, and weekend events that keep the energy going.
Looking for the best view? We have it. Alexandria Bier Garden is home to Old Town’s only rooftop bar, a favorite for happy hour, date nights, and late-night fun.
And if you are hungry late, we have you covered. Our late-night menu is available every Friday and Saturday until 12:45am, making us one of the few spots in Old Town still serving food after midnight.
