Join us on Saturday, October 31, 2026 for the 14th Annual Day of the Dead 5K & Street Festival- a vibrant celebration of culture and community in downtown Raleigh, all in support of the Fox Road Boys & Girls Club (formerly Brentwood Boys & Girls Club).
The morning kicks off at Centro Mexican Restaurant with a scenic run through the historic Oakwood Cemetery. After crossing the finish line, runners can celebrate with fellow participants and enjoy the festive atmosphere of this unique Raleigh tradition. Participants age 21 and older will also receive a complimentary beer courtesy of Trophy Brewing.
After the run, the celebration continues with a free street festival on Wilmington Street (between Hargett & Morgan). Explore local vendors offering crafts, baked goods, clothing, ceramics, and more; grab delicious bites from Centro or the food trucks; and enjoy music, traditional dancers, and family activities. Two beautiful Día de los Muertos altars invite you to honor loved ones, and our famous dance-off costume contest promises fun for all ages.
Whether you’re running, shopping, or simply soaking in the energy, there’s something for everyone at this one-of-a-kind Raleigh tradition!
